Chris co-founded Tatsu Partners in April 2020 alongside his former colleagues to establish an independent debt advisory and restructuring business with international growth aspirations.  His experience covers a range of both private-equity backed and public companies in the UK, Europe and the US across a broad array of sectors.  He works with both financial sponsors and corporate clients helping them raise new debt capital on optimal terms and in the management of existing facilities.  Chris is known for his commercial and hands-on approach when advising clients, together with straightforwardness and transparency when dealing with all stakeholders in the deal.

Prior to joining Tatsu Partners, Chris spent over four years with the Debt Advisory team at Wyvern Partners, where he focused primarily on UK mid-market debt transactions, and before that spent six years with the Capital & Debt Advisory team at EY, where he worked in both the UK and the United States. Chris is a Chartered Accountant and a graduate of the University of Durham.

Outside of work Chris is a keen-but-uninspiring golfer and uses that, together his love of good food, as an excuse to travel to far-flung destinations across the globe.  His passion for travel and good food comes second only to the music of Dolly Parton.
